Me too. Match penalty for elbowing...
Apparently White's elbow is where everybody else has a shoulder. - 3M
Yeah I don't see an elbow.
It is the kind of hit they are targetting to get out of the game though and it looked like he left his feet.

Yeah...I didn't really see what everyone else is commenting on. Unless from a different angle it shows an elbow.
He did leave his feet though . - stormey

I don't know if he left his feet after the hit, or before. But, as I said, it doesn't matter. He'll get the book thrown at him.

Jeez. Can't even make a comment. Why would I troll down 7-3? - hscesq
A Canucks fan would. Then again, I am not sure they would understand they are losing 7-3.

The only players that don't are on the Bruins or Rangers.

Ahh...he left his
foot . This changes nothing in the eyes of the "hey, look at how we suspend (certain) people!" NHL.

Yeah, doesn't (frank)ing matter if it was his elbow or shoulder. He was going for the head and made contact. Suspend him.

Yeah...after looking at it again, his one foot stays on the ice. The other does come off on the follow through of the hit.

It has nothing on Nash's flying elbow to the back of Kopecky's head which went unsuspended.

8 games. - 3M
If that's 8 games, Rich Nash's flying elbow last month should've got 25 games.
Edit: In a league with no bias towards star players of course.

I bet he gets 4-6 games. I doubt that hit justifies more, including playoff games.

Not enough. - hscesq
Like it matters. White has only played in 25 games this year. Give him 5, 8 or 15...he's not going to play again this year anyway.

Not sure why you feel the need to defend White by bringing up Nash.
You don't fix mistakes by making another mistake. White should and will be suspended for a stupid, stupid hit to the head. That's all.

doesn't leave his feet, doesn't use his elbow, north-south hit.
You could argue it's suspension worthy, because looks like the head is the primary point of contact, but an in-person meeting?

I don't care about White, it's the league's ridiculousness in deciding the length of suspensions that is a problem.

It's very sad when forwards from the opposing team have a constant free pass to the front of our net. - God_then_kovy
What happen to Max Pac going to the net? Since that Chara hit,he's been just shooting wrist shot from the outside. Gallagher is always in dirty areas like he's 6.3 unlike patches...Pathetic!
