Yeah thats exactly why I said legalization is a good idea. Maybe instead of dutifully believing every shred of propoganda fed to you by institutions that have waged a laughably ineffective and monstrously expensive "war" on drugs, you should do a little research on the countless other uses it has. For starters, do you have the slightest idea how vastly superior it is for producing paper? or various types of oil? How about the nutritional content of hemp hearts? Pain killing properties? Fiber ten times more durable than anything man made? Those are just for openers. As for those who smoke and your worries of emphysema/cancer, one word: vaporization. Apart from the actual inhalation of a substance (which is carcinogenic in terms of anything..enjoy a campfire or a steak on tbe BBQ with some char?) there is nothing inherently harmful at all about it.

The only thing I would say is hemp was used for paper.. and there is no THC in hemp which is essentially what makes marijuana what it is. Hemp was banned so long ago that people don't even remember why. Hemp is illegal in the US.. and they actually get their hemp from other countries like Canada. However, it is very controlled in Canada, where and how you can manufacture it.

The government ruins everything, hemp is by far a superior material compared to many others.

Legalizing marijuana is one of the easiest and quickest ways to boost the economy and lower crime rates in many cities. Not forgetting wasting Police man power and our tax money hunting down and seizing such small amounts of weed. Its ridiculous.. much worse in the US.. but still bad here.

Actually it is closer to 22 or 23, the prefrontal cortex, which is responsible for such things as thinking about consequences before actions, is not developed till about this age. It is one of those things that our population is already irresponsible enough with legalized alcohol and tobacco, we are too stupid to be responsible with adding something else into the mix.

There is some case to be made for early exposures being harmful sure. Just like eating peanuts or honey as a baby can make you allergic. This is enough to keep it in the same category as cocaine and heroin? Rubbish.
