The Oilers have allowed 117 goals in 42 games this season. 13 of those goals were scored in the first two minutes of a period. That's 11% of goals against in that 6-minute window with 6 goals against in the first two minutes of the game this year. They also allowed 17 goals against in the last two minutes of a period -- 14 if not counting empty netters or 12% of GA, with 6 goals against in the last two minutes of the game this year.

Mathematically those 12 minutes a game represent 20% of the season, so it may not seem like that big a deal, but that's only if you count all 12 minute chunks to be equal. In reality, teams can be expected to play specifically defensively at these junctures, and to me those inflated totals suggest staggering mental lapses.

I don't know what it's like in other provinces, but in NL, if you're a white, heterosexual male you're (frank)ed.

That's what my Saudi friend in St. John's says, though he says Newfie girls think it's cute that he says "Yes b'y!" in an Arabic accent.

I read a survey result a few months back .The question was "Does a Political Candidates Relion or faith hold any importance to your vote?" or something like that.
70+% of Canadians didn't care. 70+% of Americans thought is was very important.

You can thank the South for that.

That's when I realized Santa Clause, Easter Bunny, other things were just illusions used to control you.

The number of Athiests in Canada is rapidly multiplying with each generation. Religion is less and less an issue here.

Isn't there a creationist museum in Canada? That is way too messed up. Jesus riding dinosaurs and all that.

Yeah, up here in your average lunch room you can have all kinds of Theological discussions without offending anyone. there is the odd Christian that might end up day to day with hurt feelings, but its seriously like 1 in 30.

Yep.I think it's on the way to Drumheller. Some people went there and apparently they like to tell you an awful lot, but sure aren't open to discussion at all.

It's always a constitutional battle here. You've got states that have barely removed the ten commandments from courts, and then you have laws in some states that exist till now banning those that don't believe in a supreme being from being elected into office.

Well, ultimately thats up to the people. In Canada, nobody cares because so few are afraid of God anymore. God is only useful to Government as an instrament of fear. The Kings of Europe knew this, it's how they kept their subjects in line. That and you might be drawn and quartered.

I will laugh my ass off when the day comes and it may be sooner than many think where the young stars we piled up will want out of town- demand it and Katz will be left with Lowe, MacT holding his balls and don't forget Lowe will still have his proven winner attitude and his 6 Stanley cup rings!

Its insane.

You've got an economy in the dumpster, and the biggest topics are abortion and gay marriage.

Oh an economists ideas on how to fix the economy don't count, along with scientists views on the climate.

Its hard on the head.

Yes, I do. I don't spend all day alone communicating solely with internet folks. That's for guys who play World of Warcraft or some poo.

He's from my hometown and he's going to graduate from MUN this semester. Evidently, he lives with a host family consisting of a guy and his luscious 17-year-old daughter.

He still hasn't made any moves on her. The wiener.

Much like the remaining games will be... I think once we trade Ebs like many are stating Hall will demand a trade and get it.... As Hall is starting to get really sick of this poop and organizations continued BS
