that goal was the perfect example of what the Islanders were doing wrong on the first part of the five on three. Early they were playing too high up from the point but finally worked puck low and the defenseman closed in towards the net.

despite scoring a goal Streit has looked awful on the power play.

If we beat them on Thursday then it's possible. Why not? Isles need to play better than they did tonight though. We got the W but we looked clueless at times.

another great win. while florida push the tempo in 2nd. isles did something they didnt do in past and have done great las 12 games. . thats chew up the clock. way to hold 3 goal lead and close game out.

as for Cizikas, i really hope he ok. Reasoner coming back in can destroy the chemistry. everytime that guy in lineup. its not that he does anything wrong, its just he doesnt do anything right. He immediately makes his line terrible and a non-threat for opposing team.
