Dont get carried away now, I mean once again it is a 48 game season not a full season and if it was a full season who knows what would have happened.

that being said great first period and then they kind of fell asleep for a while. Problem is any other team would have definitely scored another few goals. the Pantehrs are that bad. This team needs to play 60 minutes going forward.

Tough to say. As I said to someone else the other day, you could make the argument that we'd be in pursuit of Pittsburgh if this season had 40 remaining games. I don't think we're near as talented, but we're playing some of the best team hockey in the league right now, which year in and out tends to win championships. I'm very interested in seeing how our game translates in a playoff series.
That said, it's hard to argue the chemistry this team has right now, you have to credit the GM for that much.

Isles aren't in the playoffs yet.

If they lose on Thursday to the Leafs... Saturday night will be pretty intense.

I can't believe Winnipeg is still holding on.

I would love for the Rangers to drop out of the top 8.

I'm going to the Isles @ Sabres game.

I don't want it to be a must win game.

Oh I don't think we would either but it's hard to dispute that based on this run right now we would certainly be gaining on them given their injuries.

As for Jack...I think that contract is already completed and just awaiting the formality of his signature. I'd prefer someone else, but it's hard to argue given the turnaround we've seen.

I'd prefer Montreal or Washington. I realize Washington has been hot as of late, but we always play them well.

Frankly, if Crosby isn't ready for round one, I'd be willing to take on Pittsburgh too. They've been very unimpressive since he's gone out. The only team I still want no part of is Boston.
