please explain? - Vukota
I not saying he great. But he isnt terrible. Reasoner is terrible. DO i think grabner deserves to be on first line over him. i persally think granber better than moulson.
Boyes is playing his shifts hard. Trying to set up plays , finishing his check and putting shots on net.
Isles are 9-1-2 in last 11 games. are we really spllitting hair here.
Am i wrong about people here on Bailey and KO earlier in season? same principle. Boyes can get hot, put in few goals and then everyone would like him. He is third in points on the team.
Reasoner i get Zero goals in 90+ games. Slow, Lost in every play. |

Boyes is good because we are 9-1-2 in our last 12? If anything the team has that record in spite of JT's whole line.. its broken & Boyes is a huge part of that.

Still not sold on Bailey and Okposo. Everything looks awesome in a shortened season. I call this year a free be for everyone |

Bailey and Okposo are both in their mid to early 20's. Boyes is in his 30's I think its pretty safe to say boyes has hit his celing and now he is plummeting down to the end of his career. |

They both come on at the end of every season... at least we now know they can do it when the games are important too!

Why? Last time I checked a shortened season still has a stanley cup winner and playoffs. How is the pressure any different now then in an 82 game season? I'm not sold on them either but I don't understand your reasoning |

The grind of an 82 season is a lot harder then 48. Would they be able to keep this up? Probably not Okposos has what 4 goals. What if he scored like 10 goals in an 82 games season. People would be calling for his head. Same for Bailey. I would like to see them play like this for 82 games thenI will be convinced |

when you have been watching this team for such a long time losing is all you know. When they are winning you are just waiting for something to happen to knock them out. When Nabby went down last night and was not getting up I almost died. Our season would have been done - kasperrko
ya great...whats that have to do with this years team?? |

How about this: the team is 9-1-2 in its last 12. Lets not change anything and leave the lines the way they are. |

Which line are you breaking up to take Boyes off the top line, or are you going to scratch him and dress Lee or someone else and put them on the top line? |

Forget it. We get all excited in here I am happy they are winning I really am but againa shortened season. I can guarentee if the season was 82 games the Islanders would not be in the playoffs same can be said for Toronto.
Again I am happy they are in the playoffs but lets not think that the team we have on the ice will be there next year. Especially with question marks around the goaltending and with the problems we still have |

I understand that but I still don't get how this season is a freebie? I agree they both need to do it over a full season but you have to give them credit because that line has basically carried this team the last couple of weeks |
