For those who want Jordan Subban he was 6th on OHL scoring for defenseman with 51 points.
He led the OHL in shootout goals with 5 in 6 attempts. |

I don't think it's disrespectful to buy him out. Disrespectful would be telling him that, even though you're paying him, you're not going to let him play 2 weeks before you are going to make him find a new job.
Briere has gone above and beyond his duties off the ice. He's at every charity event he can make it to, he's let rookies stay with him, and he's great with fans. There are guys like Briere, Knuble, and Shelley who, to me, have earned the right to end their careers/Flyer careers with dignity, not as being healthy scratches. That's why I've been advocating dressing Shelley and Knuble for the final game, barring it having any playoff implications for the Flyers. - jmatchett383

I just think that there are certain players who are truly classy players who deserve to ride off into the sunset as opposed to fading away into small dark holes. Personal feeling. |

Petey was a free agent failure. He's in the Flock of Seagulls Tribute band in Phoenix. |

I'd draft the backup skate sharpener if he could score in the shootout. Even better if he could stop one on occasion. |

How's calgarys future looking? How bout Edmonton? I can guarantee over the past 4 years calgarys April record looks much better than edmontons. Whose shoes would you rather be in? Draft position is huge - Just5
Irrelevant. No one is arguing that draft position isn't important. |

Rinaldo makes sense, but Rosehill for two years? Do you really need depth at the enforcer position? .. and for two years at that? You have Derek Mathers waiting in the weeds.
Don't get me wrong I like the "hardworking, stick up for your teammates" work ethic he brings but it seems like a waste of a roster spot and cap space for the next 2 years.
He's going to be the new Shelly. |

Rinaldo's made himself into an effective player. They obviously thought enough of Rosehill that they traded a player to land him. No surprise he was re-signed. |

Rosehill can play a regular 4th line shift. There is nothing wrong with having some veteran depth that can provide toughness to the lineup, for cheap.

If they are limited for roster spots,
I would have preferred Adam Hall over Rosehill. |

Agreed. Could be room for both. You'd have to imagine one of Gags or Feds isn't back next year. |
