not my best night. first period was rough...but nothing that was garbage. all breakaways and rebounds with no support mostly. they got some bounces too. i made some excellent stops throughout the game. 2 2 on 0s among others...that just shouldn't be necessary. at 40 and playing once a week, i'm only going to be able to do so much.
bottom line is i need to be better, and i have to find a way to stop the endless oddman rushes and point blank slot chances and get rebounds to safe spots. it's a tall task. and i'm only 5'9" on a good day. - hammarby31
Nice pads, reminds me of the one's Razr used to wear when he played here before the hip injury. |

Yep, at a smaller cap hit, too. I'd like to keep him for a year or two at between $2mm & $2.5mm.
He's a capable guy, plays in all situations and still has some tread left on the tires. - Jsaquella
That's about where I'd love to get him at, but I think he'll have some interest around the league and could get 3-4 mil and he'll go for the $$$. This is Gags we're talking about here, and those new Lamborghini Venenos aren't cheap! |

How's your puck moving? - Just5
sub par. always has been. i'm a natural right handed shot, and having to shoot left handed with big goalie gloves is hard. i know my limitations and try to make the safe play. not afraid to go behind the net and stop the puck for my dman and can make a decent outlet pass. |

Same crap that went down when they signed Shelley for three years. Not sure why he needed two years either but its not bad at his price. |

it was a fundraiser/exhibition game against a team from CommVault. They have a foundation that raises money for children through hockey. The team i am with is the US Masters (ie, old farts) competing in the Maccabi Games this summer in Israel. We were guests of CommVault and attending the pregame party/auction at the Lexus Club, had comp tickets to the game, and then played afterwards.
We got hammered in the first period, but settled down in the 2nd/3rd. Only our 2nd game playing together. We have another practice weekend in June in South Bend, Indiana. Maccabi Games are in late July. |

Bryz, you converse much better with the written word than with verbal communication
P.S. you look much taller on TV |

homer's mostly a lousy negotiator. who was beating down the doors for any of these guys? ...and leighton after the finals into the bargain. must be a compulsion... |
