wasn't it a safety thing? - 2Real
Well the blades are still on the ice. Really doesn't seem anymore dangerous to me. |

Me too but, Here we go again tho in desperation mode looking for a tender. Maybe with the buyouts the market gets saturated. - JoeRussomanno
It's not desperation, it's simply adjusting to a new CBA that makes his contract untenable. |

There's no way I'd go into next year with Mason and a back-up guy. I'd like to see Backstrom or Emery if they buy out Bryz. - Jsaquella
I did mention Emery the other night as a tandem with Mason. I like the idea, plus it adds another to the "Twice A Flyer" Foundation. |

How'd he do in his first 4 games? - Jsaquella
He's been very solid in the 9 playoff games so far, the western conference OHL finals start tomorrow in which he & London will be tested. |

There's the rub. If they can get somebody in here before this year's buyout time passes, then Bryz is gone. Otherwise we have another year with him.

I mean negotiating a deal for another tender from a position of desperation like we did with bryzgalov... I'm prolly paranoid anyway. |

I think they could buy him out and then land a guy. They should just get a time splitter if they think Mason is fixable. |

The Debs just plain out work the Flyers, they skate harder and battle harder along the walls. Pretty simple. |

It wouldn't be, because you have Mason on hand. You just get a time splitter. Short term deal, and if Mason can get back to his rookie year levels and sustain it, then you have your guy and Stolarz and whomever else in the wings down the road |
