good will always prevail, the Devils domination of the Flyers reminds me off the Flyers domination of the Penguins back in the day. - vejim
In this life or the next, yes good will prevail. |

So, after the Flyers skaters failed to put a single goal on the board, we're having a goalie debate? Fascinating. - BulliesPhan87

truly amazing isn't it. and we wonder why the media harps on the goalie position with so much other crap going on with the team. |

They're paying him a total of $25M for 48 games played by July 1st. They're not going to trade him. |

Also if I'm the Flyers I go all in for Shea Weber - Winning
They tried. It did not work. As a result of the attempt Nashville is already out $13 million cash to him. In a few short months they will be out another $13 million in cash to him. I'm not sure there is enough "all in" to get Nashville to walk away from that. Add to it that they are probably none too thrilled with the Flyers' attempt last summer, thus not likely to be in any kind of mood to entertain a trade conversation.
Given that backdrop, what would be your "all in" proposal?
Edit: I see your above post. Nowhere near enough "all in" imho. |

Sure they will...
...if we offer, Giroux, Couturier, Schenn, and Schenn. |

Nashville better hope they make the playoffs next season because there's another $12 mill due next offseason. Even rich people get tired of throwing away money eventually.

I would love to see Nashville's balance sheet from this last year. I'm betting they lost a mountain of money. |

Snider isn't losing any money personally. The loss is covered by Comcast subscribers aka Flyers fans. |

Plus the offseason after that and the one after that...
At this point, I wouldn't touch that poison pill of a contract with the cap going down given that we would have to spend to replace the players going the other way. |
