true, but Karlsson also didn't miss almost a full season of Jr development due to injury. And he played a year of Pro in the SEL before coming over to start the year in the AHL.

so, given Reilly's injury, he should do Jr next year, then AHL year after to have same # of "development years" as Karlsson before moving to NHL - if that's the plan you want to look at.

Not worth arguing with he is UG light.... Call Reilly up early and play him at the highest level while Gardiner develops on the bench...... He must have done a psychoanalysis on all the Leafs and prospects to determine what is the best way to develop each and every one of them

The funny thing is I do not have a strong opinion on either Reilly's ability to play in the NHL next year and what is best for his development, or wether or not Gardiner should be in the NHL right now..... so nice try
