Not true. If the Leafs plan on coming in 6th to play Winnipeg things couldn't have gone any better. Leafs lost. Sens won. Washington lost. Winnipeg is winning.

Before I watched the game, the Leafs existed in both a winning state and a losing state.

However, when observed, they were only a giant, steaming pile of horsepoop. I wished I hadn't observed them.

I actually think they'd be playing better if they had a spot locked up. It's a young group and they're distracted.

Carlyle needs to grab them by the collective neck, tell them to get every thought about "clinching" out of their heads, and focus on playing games shift by shift.

It looked like they decided they had officially made the playoffs at 2-0.
