Changing the state or position of something buy observing it is all Heisenberg I believe unless I am messing up the reference. It's been a long time since I read stuff about theoretical phsyics, for fun.
Boston is THE intellectual city of the US. There are three of the top universities in the world there in the city, the top hospital in the country and it is geographically (relatively) close to NYC, DC and Canada

It's just that I find their plan to be pretty weak and stupid. They hit the Marathon at the moment where most of the runners and public are gone. It just doesn't make sense when you think about it. Why not simply drop their bags in Harvard's cafeteria at lunch time?
And then they go out and rob convenience stores when their pictures are on TV for millions and millions of people to see.

Actually that was the time they said the most people would be around. They didn't plan the getaway very good.
