Side note: The aunt's suspicion of the government is something very common amongst people from soviet countries. People being taken by the government in the night, and never being seen again was pretty common place.

We live in Canada and a bunch of us are following this tragedy hence all the chat here it is not like we are in a bubble. She gets better coverage than the US. We have more news outlets.. with higher quality.. on cable than they get in the US.

Their Uncle's seemed to take a different stance then their sister.. one was a construction worker who had less command of the language than her.

HE LIVES IN BOSTON!!!. Has nothing to do with News coverage. He's part of the (frank)ing community. He sees it as an attack on HIS community as much as everyone else does. That's why he's the only family member not sticking by them.

I agree that certain groups have used religion to advance their goals. I guess my point is that the religion itself is not the problem. A friend of mine read the Koran all the way though and found very clear prohibitions against murder and suicide which would make suicide bombings a real no-no

what i meant by my post was that praying 5x a day was normal, i was not trying to say it justified murder.. not at all.
