It's not illegal to own or operate a scanner in both the U.S and Canada and i highly doubt the suspect has a police scanner handy in the boat.

So what's the general feel in the room here boys? We ready to jump ship before we start taking on too much water?

We still only need a couple points to make it through, and with OTT, a trip to Florida and then MTL, we shouldn't have any problem getting the two points needed. That said, we lost hard.

As for the Leafs themselves: It's good to know the goaltending has been good enough that we should survive.

Anyone who doubted Gunnarsson's value to this team is eating crow. He is a steadying influence on Dion, who needs a steady partner to keep him in check. I still think Gardiner should be on this team, but pairing him with Dion is stupid. Gards isn't good enough to clean up for Dion's mistakes and play against the other team's top line.

Grabovski is sooooo gone at the end of this year. There's absolutley no reason why we should be paying 5.5m per for absolutely nothing. And I mean nothing.

As for the attack: Too much hesitation with the puck on the bllueline. Other teams know they can pressure the Dmen and get turnovers. We need to focus on getting dirtier goals, and simple shot-rebound -type plays.

Credit to NYI as well. I didn't like the Komarov penalty, but that top line of theirs is very solid.
