This is a story about Rosehill from the Norfolk Admirals that my friend @mdub_07 shared with me and I think all the #AdsFamily should hear it…
“Hey! So I wanted to share this with you two from tonight’s Canes vs Flyers game (I went because I was paying back a friend who got me the caps tickets earlier this month ha)
Anyway, afterwards we were out to see if we could meet some Flyers players, and there was a mentally handicapped probably 20ish year old girl in a wheelchair behind the fence. It was impossible for her to be seen or to see any of the players head to the bus. In her hands she was holding a handmade "I (heart) Jar Rosehill poster. I overheard her parents saying how they came down from Norfolk just to see Rosehill; they loved him when he was with the Admirals and their daughter was his biggest fan.
The security guard was able to help them out of the kindness of his heart to open the gate she was sitting behind so she could at least have the potential to be seen. There were two spotlights lighting the parking lot so she was blinded in a sense. The guard grabbed some napkins and twisted the bulbs out of the security light so the girl could see (and could possibly lose his job for this).
After a while, Russlan Fedotenko came over and signed a bunch of things and the father asked for him to see if Rosey could come out. I’m not sure whether Fedotenko relayed the message or if another security official was able to mention something to TSA, but sure enough out of the dark near the bus came Rosehill. He walked past a couple dozen fans to the end of the fence where this girl was, gave her a hug, signed her poster, and took a picture with her. There were tears in her eyes, and I was trying not to get a little weak myself. It was an awesome moment. My utmost respect not only him for doing that, but the security guard to in all honesty could have been fired for opening the gate and turning off some lights."

Bill must be taking the day off today, good for him!
Cause I am really bored and have a lot of time on my hands here is how I think the Flyers will finish out the season
vs Boston - Flyers go back to Bryz here as it looks like Lavy is going with a rotation from here on in. Getting away from Boston will allow the Bruins to relax and just focus on hockey, which is not good news for the Flyers. With a division title still up for grabs, the Bruins come out with their "A" game and beat the Flyers 5-2.
vs NYI - The Islanders clinch a playoff spot and overcome a good game by Mason. Final is 3-1, last goal is an empty netter.
vs OTT - locked into a playoff spot and facing a Flyers team looking towards vacation, we are treated with a sloppy wide open game. In the end, Bryz is his usual self in the skills competition and the Flyers lose 6-5 in a shootout.
Final record for our boys in orange and black: 20-24-4 44pts, I believe this will put them 8th from last behind:
30. FLA
29. CAR
28. COL
27. NAS
26. TB
25. EDM
24. CAL
23. PHL
May as well make draft predictions too, so here goes. I will go with the assumption that Florida wins the lottery and keeps the top pick
1. FLA MacKinnon Florida gets their franchise center
2. CAR Jones Carolina gets their 1st potential Norris winner since Pronger
3. COL Drouin Colorado gets a sniper
4. NAS Monahan Nashville makes the safe pick and gets a guy who will step right in
5. TB Nichushkin Bit of a risk, but Yzerman will be drooling about him and
Stamkos on the same line
Here is where it will now get interesting. While the Flyers need help on D, there is no one left on the board that is guaranteed to be able to step right in and play or develop into a true #1 defenseman. Thus I am picking the Flyers to trade the 8th pick, their 3rd round pick and a prospect to EDM for pick 6.
6. PHL Barkov This guy is too good for Holmgren to pass up, and he will look to move B. Schenn(most likely) or Couturier for defensive help.
7. CAL Lindholm Feaster still gets his #1 center prospect
8. EDM Nurse Edmonton gets the blue chip D prospect they want, plus a prospect and a pick
To all of you who actual read all of the above, thanks!!
Thoughts??

I read this elsewhere, very controversial, but food for thought anyway...
It would be so “Flyers” to trade our first (probably around 4-8), second, Meszaros/Grossmann, Matt Read, and Nick Cousins for the first overall pick in the draft to select the one and only Seth Jones.
I personally hate this as it is too much to give up.
My thoughts are whoever picks first is taking Jones.
If the Flyers finish 8-10th and Nurse is gone then I'd like them to take Ristolainin. We need D and we love Finns. |

How did you like the lines last night?
The future Selke candidate shut down center with 2 way stalwarts Briere and Hartnell on his wings was interesting. |

I'd be okay with either Ristolainen or Pulock if they're picking 8-10. |

I was wondering if Fedotenko was confused when the girl's dad asked him if Rosy could come out.
hmm, I thought I was Rosy? |
