Milwaukee and Rockford will enter final day of season tied for 8th in West. MIL clinches with a point Sunday; otherwise RFD clinches. - Beaver-Warrior
Yeah I think you are right. He just said it now as ads just beat wolves. I saw a twet yesterday that ads needed 3 points to clinch which now means just 1 point tomorrow. But it will be a tough game on the road. The ads have another really tall goalie that takes up the whole net. I still think they have to make nets bigger - tomcat24
It all comes down to what Milwaukee does in Peoria tomorrow. That could be a tough game for Milwaukee, being that it's Peoria's last game. Peoria might come all out to win that one.
At least that how I hope it goes... |

Re hishing on him
without giving a name --- many years ago, a friend of mine was the back-up in Vancouver and he had one of the best gaa's way into the December...
Anyway they made a team trip to Philly and I don't remember if it was a mistake or an invite, but he, for some reason was he was in the Flyers locker room...and they had pictures of their coach Mike Keenan pasted to inside of the toliet bowls...he or the coaching staff never used those urinals so they were there able to leave them up and had the janitoral staff "work around them."
Now I remember a Flyer took many Canucks in to see them... |

As I said, you have your opinion, I have mine. If I had given that goal up, I'd still say it was a bad goal and I can't give that crap up. I hate when somebody says, "oh, this guy or that guy gave up a bad goal, as if it somehow justifies when Crawford gives up a bad goal. Sorry, I don't compare what he does to what some guy on a team I could care less about does. I simply judge him on his play and when he plays well or makes a great save I say so, but then when he plays like crap or gives up a bad goal, I say that as well.
He has a history of giving up bad goals at bad times and guys who watch far more hockey than me and know more about the game will tell you he does. Whether you agree or disagree is your perogative, but it's not going to change my mind. - RetiredGoalie
ok...when is good time to give up a bad goal...
and when he plays well....like 95% of the time...its crickets chirping with you...how about those saves in the 3rd so far... |

When your team is up or down by 3+. Early is a game is better than in a playoff OT - gives your team a chance to recover. |

I wasn't taking a side in your debate - just a point that bad goals can happen at okay times or awful times. |

Uh, there's really never a good time for a bad goai if you want to be honest. I never said Crawford sucks, or he's been brutal or he shouldn't be in the NHL. What I said was he has a penchant for giving up very soft goals at inopportune times. The fact that it's been a constant topic on this board for a long time, should tell you that's simply a fact. I can look at it the same way you are, just in reverse. When he makes a good save, you don't hesitate to tell everyone on the board about it, but when he gives up a bad goal or plays poorly, you refuse to just say so. Instead you get defensive and say the defense didn't do it's job, or Miller or Lundquist played like crap last night or whatever. I have no problem saying when he plays well, but I can also admit when he doesn't. I hope he has an incredible playoff and leads this team to the cup. But in my mind, I just don't have total confidence in him. |

Too bad Seabrook destroyed Vermette instead of Captain Cheapshot. - prd797
If I could get away with it...Smith/Doan/Nash would all be dunked in septic tanks and held there for extended periods.
