I figured.
2-0 on the road trip.
3 more to go.

best thing is there won't be a team in the playoffs more confident they can win on the road then us. |

Yeah they could, Jets wouldn't be able to catch you guys. - Oilers4Life14
No, they couldn't. Even had the Isles won in regulation, the Jets would have set at 48 points (with 3 games to play) to the Isles 53; that gave the Jets a shot at getting to 54 by season's end.
The big thing about today's game: you got 2 points and you locked down the 2nd tiebreak (head-to-head). Not a fantastic game, but at this point you worry more about results - and now the magic number to clinch is 3 (unless you can get even on the 1st tiebreak, where the Isles currently trail with 20 ROW's to Winnipeg's 21). |

Yep. We are just rolling and if we keep this going into the playoffs anything is possible. This is coming from me so that might tell you how positive this |

The Islanders are in the playoffs. It's just a matter of what seed. It would take a monumental collapse plus an unbelievable surge by quite a few teams to knock them out. Leafs, Sens, Isles, Rangers, Jets are all competing for 4 spots. |

How can you not be positive? The Islanders are playing with so much confident they are going to be a tough out in the playoffs... |

Doesn't matter who the Isles play 1st round, will be a good series.
Why did the Isles decide to play prevent defense with about 5 or 6 to go? They haven't done that at all in the past month or so, they definitely looked unsure of themselves for the 1st time in a while on D. |

As Isles fans, we want an Ottawa win tonight? IMO, they have a tougher remaining schedule then the leafs.
OTT has vs PIT / @ WAS / vs PHI /@ BOS
TOR has @ TB / @ FLA / vs. MON |

Never want to choose your opponent.. just get in the dance. they play who they play... Most would say Pittsburgh with so many injuries a few weeks ago were going to struggle. they can't stop winning.... all teams above are pretty damm good. Just get in the friggin dance!!! |

Defense has been shaky the last two. Still found a way to win. I had to leave after the Grabner goal and felt good about the Isles winning. I love how the Isles are playing and all the winning it's still been stressful with a lot of the other teams winning. As Isles fans we are not use to these big games. Bring on the playoffs so we can forget all about the other scores. |

He drives me nuts .... He may get a good deal but I really hope it is somewhere else. I would love to see Brock, Nino, or a UFA/Trade on that wing next season. |
