Wahow. And his father is a coach.
Wow what a punk. Even funnier is the one comment on the story saying the coach needs to get over it. - MBFlyerfan
If Brodeur retires this summer, Lou might have a presser the next day saying he's leaving, too |

Knowing the Flyers luck.. and the opposite side of that, the Devils luck, the Devils will suck for three years and then win 3 cups. |

I think if Lou follows Brodeur into the retirement castle, they will have troubles. |

Jackets with a 4-3 win over sharks.
Bob with 32 saves, what an amazing story if this team actually makes it into the post season (even in a shortened one). - Yosimar89
If Detroit loses either of the next 2 games (monday - Phoenix, wednesday - LA) , even if the loss is in OT, the Bluejackets control their own destiny when they next play on Thursday. How crazy is that? The team that Bryz never beat in Phoenix could be (indirectly) eliminated by Bob and the Bluejackets.
I'll be rooting for Pheonix to win tonight.

Lou has joked about this in the past, but I'm not so sure he's joking.
Of course, every time I think that franchise is finally going to hit a rough patch (losing Stevens to karma, Niedermayer, etc), they win the division and eat the Flyers' lunch.
I'm not so sure they'd get over Uncle Lou leaving that quickly.

I hope CBJ makes it, but I also seeing them getting their doors blown off in 4 in the first series.
Chicago is going to wreck shop in the playoffs. |

That very well could happen and is the most likely thing to happen. On the other hand, last year LA snuck into the playoffs as a very poor offensive team playing tremendous defensive hockey. LA was 29 out 30 teams in regular season scoring last year and Columbus is a few spots better than that this year.
LA's run to the cup last year was more of a longshot than Columbus doing the same thing this year. |

Not really. The Kings had a deep, talented team that was underachieving for most of the year. Quick played brilliantly, in fact had very similar numbers to Bobrovsky this year, and was just as dominant in the playoffs. Had LA played up to past performance last season, they wouldn't have been 29th in goals scored.
The Jackets are not as deep as the Kings were last year. However, if Bobrovsky continues what he's done so far in the regular season, they will be a tough out. |

One of those hats was thrown by Ilya Bryzgalov. I found that hilarious - Jsaquella
I missed that.
What a selfish/non-team player. |

While anything can happen in the playoffs, I don't know if Columbus will be able to take out Chicago barring a few key injuries and some unbelievable luck. The again, they could also move up to #7 and play Anaheim (who they'd have a shot against beating) or miss out altogether.
Also, still holding out hope that the chips fall correctly and Winnipeg beats out NYR for the 8th seed. And hoping for a Montreal/Toronto first round series for the 2 weeks worth of nonsensical pissing matches on the TSN boards. |

Yep, if I can't have Flyers / Penguins I guess I'll settle for Toronto / Montreal...

That they will. If you guys thought the 1000+ comment posts in the Philly/Pitt series last year was hostile and vulgar, posts from a Mtl/Tor series would send women and children (and most men, too) ducking for cover. |

My dream would be HB poster and good guy, Ron Guillet, assuming the moderator mantle once more just in time for Game 1 of that series. |

what would truly suck is if the Sens need their last game to get in, and the Flyers beat them and knock them out, to give the NYRs the last spot.
Not the kind of spoiler game I want to see.
(I'm not sure if this is even a possibility) |
