HUGE games tomorrow. I expect the isles to come to play. Caps can beat the jets for sure. Regardless of the Jets Caps game, the isles know what they need to do.
If the isles win and the jets lose (making the isles clinch) the question is do you rest Nabby before the playoffs? Or let him finish the remaining games. For me, i keep riding my horse, as id love to see the isles make the playoffs and NOT play the penguins who are just too deep. I can see the isles matching up well with any team in the east except the Penguins. - kindlyrick
gotta sit him...give him a game or 2 off...let him rest up. |

Really? I mean, Tavares is awesome, but the Caps without Ovie's resurgence were literally last in the league.
the Isles rise has a lot more to do with their secondary scoring and team defence rising from the ashes, does it not? |

3 Points won or loss tonight and we can finally celebrate. If the Isles win tonight then who cares what the Jets do, we are in great shape. You would have to think tonight would be a very tough game for Winnipeg against the Caps in DC. I have a feeling if the Isles can find a way tonight that the party will be underway by 10PM |

i agree but the rest of the league doesn't watch us very closely so they will just say oh... its all tavares...Nabokov has just as much to do with this run than anyone else...and i agree toews kane ovie...all great choices for the hart |

You're correct. Secondary scoring has been pretty much our SCORING lately. If that first line gets going the way they were in the beginning of the year watch out. |

Yep, he's been getting shut down to a degree which has opened up the ice a little bit more for everyone else. Teams focusing solely on him which seems to be most teams plan these days soon find out there are now other weapons on our team. Working out for us pretty well actually. Nothing like having a few lines that can score, makes us that much harder to defend against. |

I don't want to play the Caps if they are in that SE BS position. We should all be hoping for the PO's first of course but should be aiming for Toronto or Montreal who are both doable. - Cptmjl
I think the caps are beatable. Still prefer them over Pitt or Boston. I pity the fool who finishes 7th or 8th. We need more firepower/stronger D for Pitt and more toughness for Boston. |

I just wonder if someone that stunk it up for 2/3's of the year only to turn it on big time at the end makes for an MVP. I don't think JT will get it, but I think he's been consitently very good (at times great) for the whole season. There's something to be said for that.

Oh I think they are beatable but between the way Holtby plays at times and the way Ovie has been playing I'd prefer Toronto or the Habs. Holtby was scary last year in the PO's. I'd much rather face Reimer or even Price who is shakey at times. |

Maybe Tim Thomas has been working out in private. Garth activates him and then i have to take back all the bad things I've said............
.....nah, that would never happen. |

Im def pulling for us to draw Habs or leafs. 7 game series where wuss dion & hotsh!t subban will have toface matt martin and be held accountable for their dirty play from the season. Want to see them both humbled down a few notches. Be awesome to see dion dropped to the ice in Toronto. |
