Im def pulling for us to draw Habs or leafs. 7 game series where wuss dion & hotsh!t subban will have toface matt martin and be held accountable for their dirty play from the season. Want to see them both humbled down a few notches. Be awesome to see dion dropped to the ice in Toronto.
- jmo16

Guy is a POS if we face them in the PO's he will be taking runs at JT consistently. He has slowly turned into one of my most hated hockey players. Besides him being one ugly SOB that banged Elisha Cuthbert

at this point in the season we're looking at playing either the pens, habs/bruins or most likely caps.

Of those, the habs would be my choice. The bruins scare me due to their team size and toughness, and the caps are also scary as they've been on just as good a run lately. Pens are the best team in the east and when crosby/neal/malkin are ready for the playoffs they're going to roll over people.

I still won't be breathing easily until the Isles clinch.

absolutely. JT will get that award soon, maybe not this year but soon.
- Cptmjl

I'd bet a few dollars JT has another gear for the playoffs. Kid lives for the competition. Nothing more competitive than playoffs. He's done well throughout Jrs. Wouldnt bet against him in the post season.

Maybe Tim Thomas has been working out in private. Garth activates him and then i have to take back all the bad things I've said............
.....nah, that would never happen.

- jmo16

huh??? no thanks.

id rather have nabby over an unsused TT and i certainly dont want to give up the pick it would cost the team to have him play....

and you think garth is a bad gm???

See what I mean? I neve bring it up but when the children make stupid comments sometimes I like to bring them back to realty. But I'll leave it alone for now.

Some others mentioned the reason we are here is because of secondary scoring and ill agree to a point. But if there's one thing that got us here its nabby. Without him we are a lottery team.

The pens aren't going to have competition until they hit the west and I don't even think they have competition over there. I could be wrong but they've been winning every game they play without 3 of their best players. I can't see them losing at all this year.

As far as the isles go, there's 4 teams competing for 3 spots. The islanders would have to lose the remaining games and the other teams would basically have to win out in order for them not to make it. Being that the isles are one of the hottest teams in the league right now I can't see either of those things happening.

I don't care who the Isles play in the first round, I just want them to get in. The team and organization deserve it. Management has stuck to a plan and the players/coaches have worked their collective a**es off to get to this point. the team has defied the odds and reversed their own bad karma from the past few seasons to become a formidable team. Naturally, I'd love to open against a weaker opponent, but the truth is that at some point, any team wanting to come out of the east is going to have to go through either Pitt or Boston so lets just see the Isles get in and let the chips fall where they may.

I have officially dubbed the Grabner Aucoin McDonald line the TRASH line being that all three players were waived by their previous teams. Way to go Garth.

Remember 1993. No one was supposed to beat the Pens that year either. Got to play the games.

I don't know....Nabby's been great, don't get me wrong, but I wouldn't put the teams success soley on him. That second line's numbers over this stretch can't be denied. Cizikas, Martin, CMcD all playing their roles perfectly, Viz, Hamonic and AMac picked up thier games, JT's been solid....I just think and hope it's more a matter of a young team coming together and being successful.

Said the same when they started talking Tavarea for Hart. He IS the team MVP but nabby a very close second as mvp of our defense.

Then 1st line is Cash line. MM & CC should be Crash line and 2nd line Stash line, 'cos at times this year, KO was playing like he was high on dope, tho to be fair, lately they've been cArrying their weight, thankfully.

It's definitely a team effort but Nabby has stolen a few games for us and been pretty consitent. If we had DP still playing or Poulin playing regularly I'd say we are a lottery team.

There are 5 teams competing but 1 out of the two has to take the southeast. The one that doesn't take the southeast will be the fourth team competing for the 3 spots.

Only the caps and the jets can take the SE division.
