the bet is for 2/14/14

he must be up full time by then

6 pack of beer, you pick which state it is delivered in

- homiedclown

What if he gets called up for a month in January due to injuries and stays through 2/14/14, but on 2/15/14 he gets sent down?

The way I take it is that he has to be here full time from 2/14 on. If he gets called up and sent back before that it doesn't matter. He just can't be sent back after 2/14.

if she is playing the pysyk playoff card, going down, then it must be full time and never again on a bus heading back to rochester

I don't think they have to rush him, but I don't think that him getting a regular spot by Feb isn't rushing him either. He seems to be a pretty quick study and seems to thrive on the added pressure and responsibility. I think he'd be fine for regular duty by the end of next season.

I love his hustle. Very good defensively.

Pysyk> McNabb I have a feeling thats always how it will be
- sbroads24

I think McNabb will be a stud
Also a big fan of McCabe
I can't really point to a specific reason of why I'm not a big Pysyk fan, I think he's ok, I guess I just don't see him having the ceiling as some of our other guys
I might be biased towards him though bc I'm sooooooo sick of all the SOFT "puck-movers" we've had here

Does it count if he gets sent back to Rochester when we miss the playoffs and they are in?

Agreed. He uses his size as well, but doesn't go out of his way to do it either.

It would count as being sent back. Just like with Pysyk this year.

He reminds me of a young James Patrick or Hank Tallinder.

You also haven't seen any of his play this season so you're not really a very good judge either.
- HonkFortheGoose

I've seen a couple games earlier this year
I'm happy to hear he's getting better
But I don't think he should be up here until he is a good scorer in the AHL, and he's not there yet

I still think they pair him with McNabb here to start the season. He's been getting his time here with Pardy, and he won't be around next season.

There is a huge difference in his game from the beginning of this year to now. A few playoff games and the first 3 months or so of next season and he'll be ready for the NHL, IMO.

off season acquisition with myers
pysyk with the hoff
mcnabb with weber

those lines would work if we had a gilbert type with myers

I've been saying that he'd be a minute eater since I saw him in development camp this summer. His skating is fantastic. It's going to enable him to play upwards of 25 mins a night.

He stands out to me. One thing you notice by him is that hes a very solid passer, distributes the puck very well, and very calm when he does it.

I liked the "rush" he had that lead to Ott's goal. Hope he starts doing that more often.

Pysyk and Hoff are too similar. I'd rather have a more stay at home guy with Hoff.

And where is Sekera?
