I said the same thing right after the trade went down.

And yes, JFJ does seem to have a good eye for amateur talent.

Sometimes I'm wrong on trades, but the Rask trade I hated the second I heard it. It was just so unnecesarry. The day before, I had heard Legace's agent say he'd love to play in Toronto. That's all the Leafs needed at that point.

Yep, it was unbelievable.

Makes me hope they just let the Reimer and Bernier situation play itself out too. Don't make a move either way until you have to.

$5,750,000 per season vs $8,000,000 leaves some room under the cap.
