Solid game.
It will be sad if that was Briere's last game at home as a Flyer, but hopefully the change will benefit both parties.
Lauridsen just keeps getting better and better!
And it was quite interesting to ponder the fact that L Schenn and Oliver L were our top d pairing.
What do you think happens with Lauridsen next season, Bill, up or down? |

As a huge fan of Briere I feel really sad that he won't be on the team next year. Thanks for the memories Danny. I'll miss your fist pump celebrations. |

I'm down with the Luke Schenn trade.
I feel like we won that.
That said, Kimmo Timonen, at his advanced age, posted points and minutes commensurate with the top d-men in the league.
He did it for a month with a broken foot.
I like to think I'm tough, but I'm fairly positive, I couldn't carry Kimmo's hockey bag. |

Word.
Danny Briere was the start of good things after that awful 2006-2007 season.
He was good for this franchise on and off the ice. I'll miss him... |

I also said this tonight. I can see it. Hate to think what goes on in between though (unless it involves Briere going the other way) |

Neil Smith is full of crap.
That said, I'd have no beef with having Ryan Miller in O&B.

It's interesting due to the 15 day amnesty window. We will have to see how that will be gamed. |

No doubt. He's big, mean, has a wicked shot (that he can actually get through traffic), and keeps getting better. That's a good problem to have for the Flyers next season. |

If a player a team covets (Lu) is amnestied, another team may be motivated to amnesty their own 'baggage' (Bryz). It's a poker game perhaps. Just an example. Not advocating. |

There are very few times that one can troll a Philly board. The occasions are too rare. You hardly ever suck and when you do you at least inflict enough damage on those around them that it kinda evens out.
But this year.... what was it? Is it all blamed on the manic-goalie? Because as I see it.... if it is not, then... you guys do actually suck. And I find that heard to believe. |

Wow, Heeter was selected. That's kind of big for a guy that does not get a lot of Goalie Prospect fanfare. Though not undeserved. I like Heeter, I'm glad he's getting a look. |

First off, thanks.
Second, Injuries (lost 8 starting defensemen), Bad start, and not enough games to recover. They've always been a streaky team. Goalie's fine, both now in fact. Just ran out of games to catch up in a shortened season. |

He was using his size well last night taking guys off the puck and looking mean. I think he's been having some conversations with Pronger. |

Yeah, he'll do great here. Emotionally charged guy who whines about everything. Perfect fit for this city |
