So I talked to some edmonton fans over on their comment board, and they all seem to love the notion of our 1st rounder + coburn for their 1st rounder. They all just primarily want coots XD. I'm gonna go ask whoever is suppoed to have the 3rd and 4th picks how they would feel XD

So, you'd trade a reasonably priced, top 4 defenseman to move up one whole draft slot?

sooooo....i just watched a top 10 saves of the year segment on nhl network...consisted entirely of bob. now granted if half of those players were able to elevate the puck more than 12" off the ice, they probably score a goal, but they didn't.....sooooooooo

i've officially renamed the franchise the columbus bob jackets, and i'm rooting for them to get in and win the cup. why? because it will spur mason to be the greatest thing since bob and win the cup for us next year. muahahahahahahahahahahah!!!

Flyers are weak on the blueline so it doesnt make sense unless they get back an NHL defenseman.

I watched that too. My first thought was the same, a ton of pucks shot into his pads. But he made some very nice glove saves on point blank shots.

Then they went on about Sid and his crazy jaw shield for ever and I thought great, 24/7 coverage of Sid the rest of the way. yuk.
