You never know what's really going on, since the Isles rarely make any behind-the-scenes stuff public, but I don't think it's anything more than Nino will get valuable playing time against pros in the Worlds, whereas he would not get ice time with the Isles. Regardless of whether fans agree or not, the Isles would play their scratches -- Reasoner, Boulton, Ullstrom and maybe even Lee -- before any of the callups. So, there'd have to be at least five injuries up front before the callups get in.

I agree that Ullstrom and Bolton would be the likely call ups although in the event of an injury call up it may depend on the type of player they're filling in for, so I wouldn't rule anyone out. That said, I have a sneaking suspicion Boulton will actually be in our lineup for the whole series.
