I don't want to resign Boyes. I'd rather sign a guy like Nathan Horton who would truly be a perfect compliment for JT. Strome could be the other option. I think folks are forgetting just how inconsistant PA could be.

Greedy? Guy finished Top 20 in scoring. Better than Richards & Nash last year. Close to Gaborik numbers. You would have taken the $$$ too. $4Mil isn't outrageous...only on NYI. Tavares is underpaid. Wait till his contract expires and he's a UFA...The money the Isles will have to pay to keep him will be staggering.

Horton would be perfect. JT needs someone who will stand up for him. Sadly, Moulson just doesn't intimidate anyone or drop 'em when Johnny gets crushed along the boards. I'd say Matty owes JT a few broken noses for helping him HAVE an NHL career.

Lucic might be, depends on the salary cap situation, bc they do have older under-achieving players on roster.....

Also I wouldn't mind trading a roster player for him instead of a high potential prospect...
