As for the 1993 Isles, talentwise I'd say we're comparable. The 1993 Isles weren't supposed to go anywhere. Players played miles above their heads (Healey etc). That's what made that team so special.

funny how you left out Grabner. I don't think theres as huge of a difference as you'd believe. We' ll always put that team on a pedestal and rightfully so, but they weren't elite in terms of talent.

In reality PA's shadow is far more impressive than PA himself.
He's certainly better than Boyes, but we should have done better than both this year.

Boyes is a complete downgrade from PAP, but yes.. there should have been an Upgrade.

The combo of Nabby and Poulin SUCKS compared to Healy and Fitz.

When you have a 37 in net, it's nice to have a backup that can win a game or two. Mark Fitzpatrick was a decent backup that could win.
