If they find a way to win this.....can you imagine what the Coliseum will be like on sunday?

BACKPRESSURE.... our forwards are finally backchecking with speed and not allowing Pittsburgh to enter the zone clean. Then the team is storming the net. They played scared in game one because Pittsburgh set a physical tone in the opening minutes of the first period. They're getting used to the intensity and willing to go to the tough areas. Gotta watch thojgh since Pitts tallent can turn this around FAST.

As a hockey fan, not simply a pens fan, I just have a feeling that the pens experience & star power take over in the third. The Isles are giving this game everything, as they should be, but I've seen a lot of pens games where those big hits begin to wear down the d and their talent takes advantage. McDonald and Hamonic (sp) are both banged up. This next period is going to define the isles. Can they continue this intensity and hold off a pissed pens team?

Yeah. So long as the pens don't go on one of their scoring sprees, which could really deflate a team that fought this hard, the isles can pull a lot from this win or lose.

Wont matter. If they did manage to get two or three quick ones the Isles would know it's their own fault and they can hang if they stick to their game

I mean, if you get in MAF's head, the game is pretty much over.

penguins need some action from Vokoun. sounds crazy, but Vokoun has been pretty close to MAF this season if not played better.

we got vokoun for situations like this.

As unusual as not blaming a goalie, who has given four goals in a game is, I see more fault in the team's effort than anything else.
