THAT was the Isles we saw over the last month. Talent means far less in playoff hockey when teams play defense responsibly. The Devils made a living off of beating more talented teams. Credit where credit is due, Amac recovered to have a hell of a final two periods. Okposo was huge!

He wasnt trying any pretty passes, he kept his feet moving and rather then moving the puck side to side... he moved north & south... Boyes had a good game.

although i like hickey, he was clearly being targeted and was physically over-matched. strait is much more of a physical presence...of course defense would be nice but thats secondary i guess

you guys got a quality win tonight. well deserved and earned. in 2010, we split the series with Ottawa in games 1 and 2 in Pittsburgh. we went to Ottawa and crushed them in both games.

hey, i'm not trying to diss you guys in anyway. you guys could've laid down tonight after that first and said that the series was over and we were never expected to win, so who cares.

instead you guys put together a hell of 40 minutes and get the win. kudos to you guys. still think this series will belong to the penguins, but crazier things have happened.

It's reasons like this that the playoffs are funny. Isles played a stinker in game 1, then came out down 3-1 and won game 2. You just never know in a series. Just as the Isles had to forget game 1, now they have to forget game 2.
The coliseum will a madhouse on Sunday.

BTW, I respect the hell out of the Pens. Quality up and down that lineup.

But they BETTER not think this is going to be a cakewalk. The Isles have speed and heart and now they not only BELIEVE they can win (games), they KNOW they can.
