Yeah, I don't get it... I assumed that they could give it up on draft day, but when I read that they had to give it up by conclusion of the Stanley Cup Final, I don't get why they didn't forfeit it. They must have been really high on a lot of draftees that year or something.

I think they might have just forgot about the deadline as they were distracted by being in the Cup Final. Of course you'd think someone in their organization would pick up on it, but maybe they just wanted to replenish their prospect system sooner than later.

I'm writing here in a tattered Crosby tee, drenched with sweat. After the game was over, my roomie pointed at me and shouted: "It's his fault!" The girl next to me throw a can of Labatt at me and screamed: "Get him!"

So I ran and ran and ran back to the safety of West Virginia. I can't believe how 19,000 people can handily find torches and pitchforks to come after me with. That's why there will be a black cloud of smog up there tomorrow morning.

Isn't it just great watching the overrated Canuck lose. Especially in the playoffs.

Living in BC I have to listen to all the Canuck fans proclaiming how great their team is even though they've never won anything. Or if they lose it's never their fault. It's the schedule or the refs or the Bettman conspiracy that no Canadian teams will win the Cup because he won't allow it.

AV will be fired if the Nucks go out in the first round.

BTW to all Nuck fans: It's not Lou's fault. It's the whole team. Something is very wrong.

Got tickets to game 6 of the 2008 Flames Sharks playoff game. So I bought a sharks jersey and went to the game wearing it. Sadly, they lost 2-0 and I missed my chance as one of the only people in the building wearing a sharks jersey, to be shown on TV when they scored.
