Any chance we're going to be seeing Bolland & Car-Bomb this series? We need some people to get under the Wild's skin...outside of the PHI v PIT or MTL v OTT fights during the playoffs, hardly anyone fights! And I find it pointless that Q keeps trucking B52 out there. The guy can barely skate and keep up with the WIld let alone his own teammates. I think Danny Carcillo can be that spark maybe we need. Our version of Clutterbuck in a sense.
- ChiHawks27

I love Carcillo but he hasn't been the same guy this year, which I chalk up to his knee not being 100 percent, despite what they say. He just hasn't been much of a factor other than once or twice a game noticing he's on the ice, but not doing anything.

Don't quite agree about the softness of the goal. Seems like d coverage broke down and he put it on a pretty small spot up there.

Anyway I do think its more a matter of getting the intensity up. They get a lead and sit back thinking they can coast to a win. We really need Toews to step it up. He did almost pull a Toews and win the thing near the end with a drive to the net. Wish we could get that effort from him the whole game.

The Wild are throwing everything they can at Toews, and it's working. How some of their tactics don't draw interference calls, I'm not sure. Yesterday it looked like they were setting picks on him so well that he couldn't get to loose pucks.

Can I get a Toews sighting? How about Hossa?

When your 3rd line is consistently your best line, you're in trouble.

When you try over, and over, and over, and over, and over again to use the home run stretch pass as your only break out strategy, you're in trouble.

When your PP is a pathetic joke, you're in trouble.

When your goalie becomes a mental midget in the 61st minute....repeatedly, you're in trouble.

This team may still win this round, but they're going nowhere near the conference finals unless they find some back bone...soon.

Time for # 13 to spell the now useless, neutered version of Bollig too. Maybe Carbomb lights a fire under his un-inspired teammates.

Zeus starting to look like Oduya part 2...great finish to the regular season, bad in the playoffs.

Happily working during tomorrow night's debacle. Fully expect them back in Chicago knotted up at 2.

All your concerns about Saad not being ready are starting to show again in the playoffs. Carcillo on Toews' left side for a game or two might be an idea.

^^^

I 2nd the coming of a little CarBomb action. Time to let that dog off the leash and cause a little havic like Bozak, Clutterbuck, Koivu & Zucker have done.

Duncan Keith played like he is worried about his wifes pregnancy but Seabrook is playing like hes worried the baby will look like him.

Only time the top line looks good is when Saad was replaced by Kane..can we get a few more shifts of that??

What is the point of suiting up Bollig?? Not filling a role right now, would rather see Morin or Smith suit up. We Dont need a bully, we need someone to win a board battle.

They both look lost and confused...ok, how bout just this. keith looks like a shadow of his former self and Seabrook has been playing all year like he came to camp out of shape and has no interest in the play going on around him.

Too many other things went wrong on the last play for me to call out Crawford...

Shaw was paralyzed as he thought he would get whistled for tripping...Which he should have.

Oduya let a pass get through from a player on his belly and Stalberg was anything but engaged.

A "lucky"/perfect shot that shouldn't go in near side but....too many other issues to worry about Crawford yet.

i agree Al. it seemed to me "live" like everybody stopped, assuming that as Oduya touched the puck, the whistle would go. once it didn't it was mad scramble mode for the split second before it was over.

it's hard for me to be upset. most of us said Hawks in 5 or 6. that means they will lose a game. but yeah, that hurt.

The Wild won it more than the Hawks lost it. Gotta have a bigger will.
- John Jaeckel

Exactly what I said yesterday.. People on here were arguing that it was Q's fault and he said the wrong thing or didn't say anything. When a team imposes its will, a speech from Vince Lombardi won't help a team.

Then why doesn't he say that instead of making some stupid comment about the personal life of a player he knows nothing about?

Agree with this. The third line plus the D-men were watching the play unfold.

I can't believe how terrible Seabrook was last game. He was getting knocked around all over the ice. It was unreal how easily he kept falling over.

I would agree with Carbomb for Bollig. The hawks need someone to fly around on the forecheck just to take some focus away from the stars a little bit.

I agree 100% with this assessment but commenting on a player's private life is uncalled for, especially when you made it up. You do realize people are starting to challenge crap comments like that both physically and through the courts?

Wonder how funny it was for that guy in England when his 'comedic' comment made a fighter go to his house and call him out or the guy who is being sued by Brian Burke for a comedic comment he made? Cyber Comedians can't hide in Mom's basement anymore it seems.

Great post JJ! I am not bashing on Crow here but he needs to make that save! I think Crow played a great game but as a goalie you have to play a complete game. I don't understand how people can say that the hawks wouldn't have even made it to ot if it wasn't for Crow, and how you can't point the finger at him. I think it should be an expectation for a NHL # 1 goaltender to make big saves and keep your team in a game so I just don't see why people will always make that argument on how he played great except for that one weak goal. Like JJ has said a goalie can let in a soft goal here and there that is expected but to continuously let in weak goals in ot or even in a one goal game is a problem. I think crow ha played great all year and good so far this series but he can't continue to be the main reason the hawks lose.

I would say that you, the fighter, and Brian Burke all need to calm the (frank) down, lighten up, and laugh once in a while. Saad (frank)ing Christ, WTF is this world coming to?

Ok... so the #1 Star of the Game in Game 2 was Fro. How about maybe throwing him a bone and putting him a on the 2nd line with Kane, Hoss & Sharpie and dropping Zus down to the 4th line. Fro has a non stop motor like anyone on our team with guts and isn't scared to go to the crease or in the corners/along the boards.
