I guess it goes both ways. Who is worse?
- mighty13duck

Nabakov is worse, he just doesn't seem to ever make that bail-out save.

You continue to female dog about game three. I saw three uncalled penalties on the Islanders in game two - one would have been a 5 on 3 for 1:10. We have four penalties called on us to your two.

They have been terrible on many ocassions in their own One tonight. They've failed to clear so many times and it has led directly to 2 of the goals. And then a soft soft goal in a big moment. Somehow they are out shooing the Isles?

If I'm HCDB, Fleury's play in this next period would weigh VERY heavily on who starts in net for game 5.

So do you if Nabby showed up game three we win as well.
- mighty13duck

You don't. Does Nabby shut Pittsburgh out, since Fleury gave up three softies? Nope.

Everytime fleury has let in a soft goal this series I think about what his trade value is... Not saying he'd ever get traded but the past couple years he's been a mess in the playoffs..

Throw Vokoun in. He's great when entering a game and Flower always comes back strong after being pulled.

If I'm Shero, his play in this next period would weigh VERY VERY F'N' HEAVILY on weather he'll remain in Pittsburgh next year or not.

But....we cannot hide the fact that we always stop playing after we score...and that really sucks....we are lucky to be up 2-1 in the series.

totally agree with this. Doesn't seem like anyone is
Taking the body with the exception of the one big hit from Cooke, which of course led to a goal. Coincidence? I think not.

I don't know if Vokoun is a realistic alternative. He's a solid backup during the season or if Fleury were to get hurt, but you have to ride MAF in the playoffs IMO (and live with the once-a-game, jaw-dropping gaffe)

After watching that replay again, I just want fleury out. That looked like a NHL 13 goal

A couple years ago it was like that. Now it's multiple jaw-dropping gaffes a game.

If we somehow lose this series, the first thing I would do is fire Bylsma. He's a terrible gameday coach. After Game 1, Capuano was able to make adjustments. Pittsburgh is never able to adapt to those changes. I mean come on! We have a team of all stars and while I mean no disrespect to the Islanders, they shouldn't be getting outplayed like this!

That once a game gaffe costed them game 2 and now possibly this game

Well we keep the isles down to just 17 shots in 2 periods, but fleury can't make the big saves when needed.

Actually, this is easily the best they've played since game 1.

Did you see the PP we put up right after we scored the 3rd goal? Disgusting. Lazy play after lazy play....we can't afford that knowing we are not getting any bounces and Fleury playing so shaky on big moments.

The fleury era is over, problem I guess is his value diminishes each playoff series he plays. If pens get anywhere in the playoffs ever, it will be in spite of Flower, not because of. Take it to the bank

Both teams should just go 6-6 with empty nets
