To me its very simple. Ray Shero went out and got a very capable #1 as our backup.

Those of you who watch the Penguins regularly know 92's style is very calm and calculated. He stays n the net (with the exception of that Flyer game early in the year).

He stops the game every chance.

The facts are, we came back from the Refs and the Isles pressure to take a 3-2 lead. Flower panics and puts it in himself.

My other problem is Blysma is so old school he won't realize his goalie is playoff inept.

He's ruined Despres confidence.....a guy that can skate, and his two fastest players are in the press box for Craig Adams and Tanner Glass. That's a disgrace!

It's not that simple, most if the other 18 guys on the ice have been pretty piss poor too.

The officiating blew early with some bad calls on pens, but leveled off into letting anyone do whatever they wanted on either team. There were probably about 47 uncalled interferences in the last two periods.

people say that seeds don't matter in the playoffs, and in some manner, they are right. but this is the time where you fight for seeding. this is where you need to win 2 out of 3 and 2 are at home.

and folks, lets remember, this situation isn't completely unheard of. in the past the penguins have lost tough games at home and on the road. these games and losses happen. the penguins weren't going to go 16-0 and win the cup. these loses and these series happen. what matters is how you respond from those games.

the penguins still have the opportunity to win the Cup. If they get out of this series and take care of business, they get a clean slate and a new opponent.

we just gotta get out of this jam first and I believe they will.

True. Things could be worse we could be in a situation that Montreal and Vancouver is now. I definitely didn't expect the series to be tied but right now it is and I got to give credit to NY. They are playing hard. Still the Pens can turn it around quickly and play like we know they are capable of.

I saw Iggy throw 10 checks tonight and he missed with 7 of them. They are not paying the price at all. It sucks. Hit the man not the glass.

Blysma is a nightmare for in game adjustments. There just aren't any.

It's one thing to lose, but when they are making some mindboggling plays that's what upsets me the most. I swear there are times when it seems like they have never heard of the simple fundamentals of the game. They have not played smart and the Islanders are taking advantage of it. It's a shame.

Thanks, officiating was terrible for you guys for a while there. The end of the game was brutal. Morrow smashing Cizikas's head into the ice repeatedly in front of the ref was pretty bad. lol. There were some terrible calls on you guys too. Really bad all around. Naokov and Fluery are God awful. I'm guessing Vokoun has to go in next game. You can't be loyal to him after that. We have no choice but to stick with Nabokov with Poulin backing up. I was actually OK with him being played after that third goal though I'm not going to lie.

Ill stay with Nabby before Poulin.
