So, lets say we dump Fleury in the off season, What goalie do you go for for the future assuming Vokoun wont be the starter, (maybe the 1A, but I don't think he can handle 60 games) and what do you propose we give up for him, or sign him for assuming he's a Free Agent? |

Nervous Neuvy might be available - just signed a 2 year deal at a reasonable price. |

Letang-Oprik
Martin-Murray
Despres-Eaton

MAF - SuperHenderson13
I'm not dressing Adams over Jussi.
I wish Bylsma would have had Despres with Letang all year and maybe now he wouldn't look like a deer in headlights.

Adams has been one of the few players that I think have had a good series. Adams has played pretty smart IMO.
I think it would be between Jussi and Vitale for that final spot.
penguins need a spark. sometimes a change is needed. |

I'm getting tired of talking about the same thing. Fleury is a siv, forwards don't back check and are pussies on the forecheck, the defense is losing battles along the boards. Orpik and Neal did help, but when your goalie puts in 2 into his own net and your star player makes a bonehead move and runs over your goalie, there's only so much you can do. Dump glass and throw in Kennedy. Kennedy-jokinen-Adams is a nice 4th line. |

Is anyone else as annoyed by this "Gerber Life College Plan" commercial that plays about 20 times per game (often back-to-back) as I am ? The lady asks "How did you even know where to start ?" concerning saving for college. Um, lady, there's this thing called the internet which has a search engine called Google, you (frank)ing moron ! |

Some people might call it stubborn or hard headed. The only person in Pittsburgh that thought Engelland deserved a spot over Despres is Disco. I'm talking ex-players too. Nobody understood what Despres did to get jerked around. Now he's a basket case and afraid to make a mistake.....so he's useless at this point even though they could use his skating ability. |

Yes, Despres is the obvious thing. But it may be indicative of other bad decisions when it comes to managing the most important asset, the people. (players) |

I'm not impress...
It's a pathetic performance.
Half the team doesn't care... pfffff....
That defensive squad... I think their goal... I really start to believe their goal is to be the worst defensive squad in the League. And they're doing such a great job to be the worst defensive squad in the League. They turn the puck over, they have no vision... They soff like I never see a bunch of defensmen soff like this.
Hey... There are a lot of guys don't care. They pretend to care, but I know they don't care. |

Very soff. Forwards too, very poor gap control. Backing in and passive. hate it. |

Underplaying Despres and Vitale, overplaying Glass. Not sitting Malkin and Neal when they are playing like angry children. It goes on. He doesn't seem to motivate the team the way he did in 2009 and 2010. |

Luongo for Jeffery and a 3rd - TheGame316
Last thing we need is the combo of his contract and the fact he chokes in the play-offs. Luongo is a NO GO. Shouldn't be considered.

To me, it's on the players... Blysma doesn't just become a bad coach in the playoffs. If his system is so easily beaten, teams would do it in the regular season too.

Not that it was his focus, but MAF could have gone a long way this post season to earning a major role on the 2014 Canadian Olympic team. He's crushed that so far. |

Luongo's contract is fine, if you trade him in 5 years to a team desperate to get to the cap floor (ala the Isles this year and Tim Thomas) you'll easily find a taker - even if he's still playing the salary drops to peanuts, someone will want that contract even if they dont want the player
For now he is elite level and can be had for nothing - He's "choked" as much as any goalie has who has played in the playoffs and never won a cup, and he did take a team to game 7

To me it is equal and mutual. How can a team who punishes others throughout the season play the poorest hockey we can imagine. Sorry, bylsma is equally culpable and frankly if he is stil there I refuse to go to any games next year and I generally go to 20. |
