I threw an Anchorman quote into the Islanders blog, and no one got it. I told one of the Islanders' fans that i was going to take their mom out for a nice steak dinner, and never call her again.
Yeah, but the argument is who deserves the Norris this year, not "do they have comparable skill sets, gnomesayin'? - TommyDeVito
And the answer is Ryan Suter.
I then said I have a hard time picking between Subban and Letang. I think Letang is a great defenseman, but I'm not going to get into some non-statistical things I don't like about him. Yes, he's better than Subban in most areas of his game, but people are acting like Subban's a throw-away compared to him. I think Subban's a great defender in his own right, and has certain hockey and defense-related skills that surpass Letang's.

Even then, guys who see the ice well know know that the defensemen is going to be there, and will pull up. When was the last time that you saw Crosby, Tavares, Toews, Malkin, Datsyuk, etc get lit up in open ice? Those guys know where everyone is on the ice.

It's been on HBO alot lately. Anytime i see it on, i have to watch it. It is in the top 5 funniest movies in the past 20 years. Can't wait for the sequel
The Pens are going to have to play a much tighter game to get the win tonight. Hopefully they do it so we can get a little breathing room. If the Isles win and make this a best of 3 I'm going to be nervous as hell.

I actually think the Penguins take this pretty convincingly tonight. Somewhere in the 5-2 or 6-3 range. They've had too many defensive lapses, and I don't see that trend continuing.
45% of the voters were trolls from New York, Philly, Montreal and other parts that know nothing about the game ... it's pretty obvious - Oneonta Penguin
Yeah, what do people from Montreal know about hockey compared to people from Pittsburgh?

Any player can get caught, especially under the right combination of circumstances.

I've seen Malkin get himself lined up pretty good. He's just hard to take down. See Ovi hit!!!
