L.A. and St. Louis have been great, and have some huge guys who can run train, but it really comes as well from a lot of players stepping up and playing their roles. Trevor Lewis, Kyle Clifford, Justin Williams, Vladimir Svobotka, David Perron and Oshie aren't that big, but they do what needs to be done, including getting as physical as they can.
The Oilers can chase size, but what the really need is effective physical play. If we can get Horton or Lucic, that's excellent. But I'd always take Svobotka over a guy like Dustin Penner. |
