I haven't seen Carkner throw one hard check this series. Cook who is half his size sent him flying and Sutter scored 5 seconds later. He is way too slow can't keep up with the pace and doesn't hit because of that. You can't hit what you can't catch

I was conflicted last night I threw the first one with my Islander JErsey on then switch to my Penguin Jersey after the Islanders gave up a goal and threw another bottle on the ice. I told everyone this series was going to make me insane

So if he isn't hitting and isn't fighting what is he doing? He sure can't skate or keep up with the play and the pens are playing physical so don't tell me he is keeping them honest. There is a reason the sens scratched him for just about every playoff game last year. You can't keep that guy in the lineup just because something might break out in the game. This isn't the regular season. They are not deep enough to waste a spot on him. I think its pretty clear to anybody who has watched that he is pretty useless out there

you know the 3 games hes played theyve been head and shoulders better than the penguins; direct correlation? i dont know, but i wouldnt mess with this, but im sure you have all the answers. hes been playing pretty well for what hes been needed and for a massive 3rd line dman to be even through this series id say hes done pretty well. considering they lost the first game while he was scratch (hickey was -1 that game), again, not sure who pissed in your cheerios but the islanders are playing well... dont be angry just for the sake of being angry...

oh and yes, hes there to keep the pens honest...and doing a great job of it.
