Can't stand his monotone OVERRATED voice. Wish Bob Cole could call every single game.
As for Wings vs Sharks ? Initially i favored San Jose since (my recall tells me) we have been good against them for a few years, but now i'm not so sure.
The Sharts just avenged a painful playoff loss to Vancouver and would have the same motivation and momentum vs us. - philco28
I can see beating or losing to both teams. Niemi can steal a series and they have a lethal pp. Of course we have a great pk. They didn't seem to be as physical or cheap as usual. But torres always scares me being so cheap and dirty. Wings aren't as good as years past. And we have had success, but they have bertuzzi back and tootoo. Glad helm is injured |

Dunno, but I think you send a message somehow that any Torres cheap shots will be returned with a sacrificial guy like Bollig taking a game misconduct and a suspension and going after Pavelski or Marleau or Couture.
You CANNOT allow him to take out one of your best players AGAIN. |

I don't care much for his delivery either. For my money, Sam Rosen is the man.

Drew Remenda says Raffi is reformed. Therefore nothing at all to worry about. |

Exactly. Sure it might cost 1 game because they could score on the pp, but it can turn a series by sending the message the hawks won't be pushed around. Those 3 sharks should be hit and roughed up every game anyway |

As much as I hate him, he'd be a perfect fit for the Hawks |

Your part of a minority that thinks that.
I wouldn't want him, but if Bowman got him, I'd live with it. |

No thanks. And I don't see Bowman being dumb enough to do it. |

I meant more in the mold of player. That reckless/almost dangerous flying around with some offensive talent, pretty much Carcillo before his knee surgeries |

I love a good check as much as anyone, but I think that there needs to be a balance of the rough stuff and the skill. And I don't want people taking runs at JT, Kaner, Hoss, Sharpie, etc, so I would just as soon not have our guys taking run at the top lines of another team.
But I have never liked Torres since he was in Edmonton, and then when he was in Van City...ugh. If you have to make your career by taking out guys more skilled than you, you are nothing more than a bottom feeder. JMO. |

I got through about 10 pages of comments--they had to have 3 mods on to protect those poor Nuckleheads. It's such a shame to see such a frail fanbase.
