Isles aren't getting anyone in front of the net. It seems we either have everyone below the goal line or out at the blue line.

They are taking it too deep looking for that centering pass plus pens doing a good job getting back and clogging up the middle

This is what I'm saying about this team, the whole year- they are on the cusp of being a really good team, but the defense needs to be improved. I don't want to hear about who is under contract next year. We need bigger, stronger, better players on the back end, and a younger goalie, period. We need to move some of our offensive players to make that happen.

We also need a coach who makes them play defense first, block every shot, be patient, and wait for the other team to make mistakes. They did a great job in the first period, but then they get impatient. They have to learn to have that patience the whole game.

They need a playoff tested goalie. Doesn't look like Nabby will win you a Stanley Cup. He has been awful. I would go after Smith in FA or trade for Bernier. Smith did well last year in the playoffs.

I'm definitely not onboard the resign Nabby train any longer. He's been a major let down this series

He'd be fine as a 1a. Good vet presence, and can take a decent amount of starts.

Yeah stick checks are going to stop Crosby every time

First of all, you can't have two guys on the back line who are the size of my legs out on the ice at the same time. Hickey and Visnovsky should never be a defensive pair, ever. That won't work in the NHL.

Keaner17...he has been awful...can't win a Cup without a good playoff goalie. See Billy Smith... Nabokov, Boyes and Streit shouldn't be resigned...play some of the young guys and bring in a big time goalie...

I'd only take him back if Nilsson was ready to take over, otherwise. 'no thanks'.

Way too small. Hickey should be groomed as Visnovsky's replacement in the power play QB type department. He can't be taking a regular shift on the same night, never mind at the same time. Carkner should be in there. You really can't have more than one defenseman that small in the lineup.

Yeah, that's not helping....but at some point, your goalie has to stop the d*mned puck from going into the net.

That's a penalty but banging someone else's head into the ice is ok

Isles playing like pansies. They need to start crushing people. Set the tone for next game. This one is over. I'm more pissed about them not being physical than them losing.

What they really need to do is pot a couple before the end of the game. Doesn't matter how many Pittsburgh scores at this point, as long as they break through on Vokoun.

Can wait for 2 days of people debating (read: arguing) the possibility of starting Poulin in game 6.
