you realize you have to specify being that youre a bangwagoner...bad feeling for the ______? - LetsGoIsles
I hate to say the Isles. This one is going to be tough. We win tonight there is no reason why we cant win this series |

I'm taking the 'no need to worry' attitude tonight. We've done a great job thus far but thruth be told, we're still expected to lose. If we lose tonight, we give it our best shot at home. Even if we drop both games, it was a good series and great step in the right direction. If we do manage to win tonight, the possibilities seriously become bigger.... |

How about this...
Seth Rorabaugh @emptynetters
Useless stat of the day: The last time Tomas Vokoun played in the playoffs, he lost in fifth game to the Sharks and Evgeni Nabokov in 2007. |

First of all I am not a bandwagon fan I root for the Isles over the Pens all the time. Of the Pens win then I want them to win the cup. So if the ISLES win tonight there is no reason why the ISLES cant win this series.
I am allowed to like a few NHL teams |

Yeah, the pressure is squarely on the Pens shoulders tonight. Hopefully the Isles can use it to their advantage. Even if they lose tonight, good chance they win at home and force a game 7. At that point, the Pens will have ridiculous pressure on them. |

No not really. They don't understand the concept of me liking two teams. I do root for the Islanders all the way but enjoy Penguin hockey and always have been a fan ever since the Lemieux days |

Guys here are awesome and entertaining. I have been more of an Isles fans since Cindy came to the PEnguins. Great player but cant stand his antics.
I am rolling with the boys here. Have been here through the real bad times and through DP, not turning on them at all |

apparently malkins shoulder is barking...even MORE reason to smack him around...

With four points through two games, Evgeni Malkin is tied for the playoff scoring lead. But before anyone crowns him the Conn Smythe winner, know this: Malkin is nowhere close to being the player that won playoff MVP four years ago.
The shoulder injury that forced him out of the lineup for 13 games in March and April appears to be hampering the reigning MVP again. It’s hardly surprising that Malkin was held out of practice Saturday, the day after the Islanders checked the Russian at every turn in Game 2. Malkin turned the puck over three times Friday, or more than the Islanders did as a team combined. All things considered, Malkin was lucky that his early first-period goal was from the top of the crease, because it’s questionable whether he can score from any distance or with much velocity with that balky shoulder. “I want to show my best game because this year has not (been) the best from me but I have a chance to play better,” said Malkin, who had just nine goals this season. If his shoulder doesn’t cooperate, it’s highly doubtful. |
