I say we trade for Ryan Miller possible Nino and a first and throw in a prospect - kasperrko
Nino, first a a prospect for a guy that wants out & his team wants to move him?
I realize he has talent but thats QUITE an over payment

Since when does a 8th seed losing to a first seed... or better yet a 16th seed losing to the second seed = a choke?
Are you new to sports?

I don't know if he is the right guy for the job. If we get rid of DP contract Idont know if they would want another big contract like that. LEss pressure here to play though so maybe he has a bounce back year - kasperrko
I think Miller and Luongo would do more harm in the locker room then good on the ice. this is still a very young team (talent wise), so we don't need any bad influences in the locker room. |

not our team, but a history of it with the sharks.
Some of those teams he was on were favored to win the cup & came up VERY short.

Sharks choke every year with or without Nabby. With that said, as much as I dislike and don't trust Poulin, he looked much better out there yesterday than Nabby. |

It's a possibility, although I'd expect Buffalo would want to send him out of Conference.
If you can live with the contract, you guys could be suitors for Luongo. - jmatchett383
How ironic and ridiculous would that be..
We ship out Luongo to draft DP.
Then we buy out DP to make room for Luongo..

Well they both want out so I proposed this trade offer to my friends:
Nino, first round draft pick, Josh Bailey (not that I want to get rid of him just think his value has risen), De haan, and a prospect of choice.
We have plenty in the system that we can move. and to get a guy like Vanek and a goaltender who has been pretty successful is huge.
will it happen probably not |

I think Poulin has looked good in both games he came into, I cant argue that. he never looks that good thou when he starts the games.

Problem is that other teams will be inquiring. It's not just meeting what Buffalo wants, it's making an offer that is better than everyone else's. Also, Buffalo is not obligated to move him (see: Luongo, Robert in Vancouver this year). It may be in their best interests, but it's not a certainty. |

He never gets enough games to look good. You can't play one game every 15 and expect to show up with your A game. If we actually do resign Nabby, I'd like to see him and Poulin split starts next year.
I don't mind the idea of Miller or Lou for that matter if they came relatively cheap but I don't think that will be the case. I think Lou goes to Toronto and Miller heads West like Detroit. Just a guess but I really think Poulin should get a chance. |

Yeah I am hearing that. I just think we need to do something. I think Miller would be a slap to DPs face though |

I did offer a bet to CPF that the Flyers would have a better record than the Isles next year, but he cowered out. Said something about his mangina being sore. No doubt, I get a similar response from the estrogen based NYI fans here. |
