Well to be fair, you've never given us a Cloutier-like glimpse into your physical shortcomings and have yet to suggest a trade of Max Talbot for Henrik Lundqvist - Jsaquella

If even hockey fans know how bad Amaro is, why does he still have a job?
Atrocious. IMO, most positions in the real world are not filled by the most qualified people. Philly.com "journalists" barely write at a high school level. - phillydentist

Watching the Ducks Red Wings game last night, it made me think the Flyers defense was no worse then those two teams. The Ducks had Ben Lovejoy on the point for their first PP unit. Those two have some pretty good goaltending and forwards, but the D was not that great.
It made me think the Flyers had a good enough team to make the play offs and I got mad at Lavi. Useless exercise in frustration.
That Emerson Etem looked very good in a losing cause, one of the best Ducks last night.
The crowd outside watching the big screen in Toronto looked like they had a blast yesterday. All they needed was some Pitbull action. - Marc D

Seriously Bill, your lack of superfanboy attitude and lack of insanely improbable trade ideas and condemnation of the organization and staff after every loss is a disturbingly different trend on this site. How are you going to distinguish yourself with only accurate reporting and fair and unbiased analysis?

It'd be nice if they could knock off the Bruins. |

the wings victory was a testament to a great coach and an org totally committed to a certain philosophy. they've lost a lot of talent and even their best guys seem to be turning towards a decline. the patience they showed w/ Howard and a lot of these low end draftees is admirable. |

As long as Toronto gets swept the next round, I'm fine with that. |

go ahead, be a hater! it's people like you that complain to the media and you're both responsible for trying to run bryz out of town.
if we learn to play like PHO, everything will be fine for the next 7 yrs |

He's the closest thing to Crosby in terms of overall play IMO |

He's unreal. Magician is the perfect word to describe him.
He'll deke between the legs of a defender whose skates are closed |

He's actually superior to Crosby as a defensive player. |

You'll never fit the 17 goalies between Hiller and Bryzgalof in that white space. |

I think Crosby has an edge wise offensively though, if only due to Crosby's size and strength. |

In terms of pure production and elevating teammates, Crosby is better. But Datsyuk is the most dangerous one on one player around, IMO. |

Ya know....I found out yesterday that I'm, shamelessly, subconsciously rooting for the Broons.
When they scored to make it 2-1 late in the 3rd, I went- without thinking- Yes!!
This is why, I think....I hate how the Leafs all of a sudden are the greatest ever in the eyes of the Toronto fans. Can't stand them. Ugh. Like the Habs and Pens. Terrible for so long and then, all of a sudden BAM they make the playoffs, and "wow is this a Cup contender or what!?"
Like someone put it last week here:
Dear Toronto,
Congrats on making the playoffs. It must feel great. Now get the hell out....you're annoying.
Regards,
The Rest of the Hockey World
Plus, I HATE Phaneuf. So brainless but apparently is a top 10 dman in the league. Yeah ok.
All that drivel being spewed out however doesn't change the fact that I hate hate hate the Bruins. I guess I'm alright with the Leafs winning tonight, as long as they're embarrassed next round |

As much as it pains me to do so, I'm rooting for the B's.
1. I hate both teams, but Leaf fans are so insane I don't want them to even win a round.
2. B's have a better chance to knock off the Pens, which is my ultimate playoff goal at this point.
Now if someone would just beat the damn Kings...
PS. (frank) you Hitch you jerk...up 2-0 and lose the damn series.
