In terms of pure production and elevating teammates, Crosby is better. But Datsyuk is the most dangerous one on one player around, IMO.
- Jsaquella

No doubt. But hockey is a team game, so I have to give the edge to Sid, again. As much as it pains me.

As much as it pains me to do so, I'm rooting for the B's.

1. I hate both teams, but Leaf fans are so insane I don't want them to even win a round.
2. B's have a better chance to knock off the Pens, which is my ultimate playoff goal at this point.

Now if someone would just beat the damn Kings...

PS. (frank) you Hitch you jerk...up 2-0 and lose the damn series.

the wings victory was a testament to a great coach and an org totally committed to a certain philosophy. they've lost a lot of talent and even their best guys seem to be turning towards a decline. the patience they showed w/ Howard and a lot of these low end draftees is admirable.
- isaiah520

Eh. The Wings aren't that great this year. It's a retooling season for them.

Just got a lucky draw with Anaheim (who were playing extremely over their heads this season).

Also, I'd like to say that I'm ok with any Western team to win, except the Kings.

Only team I'm pulling for in the East are the Sens.

If I'm starting a team, I take Crosby, too...but in terms of two way play, Datsyuk is untouchable.

go ahead, be a hater! it's people like you that complain to the media and you're both responsible for trying to run bryz out of town.

if we learn to play like PHO, everything will be fine for the next 7 yrs

- isaiah520

The Flyers don't need to play like Phoenix for Bryzgalov to work out here. Two things have to happen. The first is the Flyers have to vastly improve their defensive team game, and be a tougher team in all 3 zones. The second and lesser thing that has to happen, is Bryzgalov simply has to play better. Which if the first part happens, it will be a catalyst to that. And the Goalie won't feel like he has to perform miracles every game.

I don't know how you guys can root for the Bruins.
I'd take the Laffs any day over them.
I even root for the Pens over the Bruins which is really (frank)ed up.

They're just "one of those teams"....they always get it done. Pretty impressive really. A strong organization out there in Ditroyit to say the least.

I have respect for the Bruins and how they play. Although they're having a tougher time with the Leafs then I think they should be. But same with the Pens and the tough fight they got from the Isles. I'm rooting for the Bruins and Ottawa in the East. And the Kings in the West.

Somehow have the Rangers win tonight, but Lundqvist goes down with an injury. At that point, the Rangers have no choice but to forfeit the next series.

In Boston, the Bruins win 5-3 but Kessel scores a hat trick. The jeers of the trade haunt Boston so much that the entire team goes into a serious depression, driving them all to alcoholism. This will have a negative effect on all of their non-Canadian players, and they will accidentally play all of their games at the local YMCA, thereby also forfeiting all of their games.

The Penguins decide to start Fleury.

There ya go.

So I yawned through parts of the Wings / Ducks game last night. They looked dead on their skates. I haven't been following closely but it felt like a listless game last night. I didn't see much fire or desire out there compared to some of the other series.
Maybe just me...

Zetterberg's beard was too intimidating for the Ducks. They were afraid to come into it's deadly fire-breathing zone.
