meh.. there are multiple decisions made by the coaches that could be questioned

i am sure carlyle had his reasons for choosing who he did.

- Dozzer

what is his reason for not calling a time out at any point during the huuuuuge swing in momentum.

with about 4 minutes left after a couple icing calls when boston was pressing heavily.

after the 4-3 goal when instead of changing the d up he left the same tired group out there that just allowed the 4-3 goal

wheres the time out?

I'm sure he did. Likely, it was due to the fact he wasn't about to experiment who can hold up to the pressure of that final push. He put it on his captain to see if he's up to the task...clearly wasn't.

They're all so young!!
- hscesq

Not really that young was the point, no veteran players with playoff experience to help them and draw from.

Still baffled by this...I don't care if Boston left their first line on. You need fresh legs that late in the game when you're under siege.

Boston just changed the definition with their 3rd and 4th goals.

Questions, questions, who was the best dman of the series for the Leafs is the one I would have had out there but what's the use in harping on it now, doesn't change a damn thing.

When the B's were pressing before they scored, i said they needed to call a timeout. Then there was the TV timeout. I figure that would help, it didn't. I then figured a Timeout would have been called during the next stoppage. I still dont get why it was not.

When you really break it down you had

Joe Colborne 23

Nazem Kadri 22

James van Riemsdyk 24

Jake Gardiner 22

Most of the others are 25 and 26 years old or in that range..

- LeafMan

was with philly when they came back from 3-0 down to the bruins.

I wouldn't mind Ference, or Scuderi if he doesn't re-sign in LA.

All I know is that this off-season will be filled with posts about "taking them to contender level" which firstly, I would they rather solidify themselves as a playoff team since the shortened year is bound to cause anomalies around the league.

not too high but it takes a lowlife to troll IN the Leafs thread about what happened last night.
- DoubleDown

Yeah it is fine to hate a team, like I hate the Habs, and a lot of you guys hate the Leafs.

I agree though, after a night like last night, or the night Montreal was eliminated... you should keep the troll stuff to your own teams' thread and let the fan base be p*ssed off and disappointed by themselves.

Hell, I didn't even troll the Canucks thread when they were swept.

thats why people are hurting today.. everyone got ahead of themselves
