As for last night's game, I've moved on. It was a great year. poopty finish, but entertaining to the very end.
I think Gardiner's a keeper. And certain posters can rip me for it, but he's fantastic not only at creating rushes, but also taking opposing teams rushes away. We spent the last 10 minutes yesterday playing not to lose......and for many guys on this team, that's just not their style. Including Gardiner.
They should've been playing to win. |

That's more than a fair assessment. If we're bringing Bozak back to be the #2 centre, and Kadri moves into the #1 hole I'm fine with it. What I don't want is bringing Bozak back to be the #1 centre.
To me, McClement is our #3 centre. - mykokes
i just dont know if mcclement brings enough offensively to be #3. on all good teams you have 3rd lines that do what mcclement does but can also chip in offensively. the bruins have that and thats what we need to get to the next level. i love mcclement but i think maybe hes better on the 4th line/pk and faceoffs in key situations. |

Yes because they have the talent to go for the throat.
What you guys have to hope for is this season was a building block and a confidence builder going foward. I hate to say this and Im not trash talking, but a run of the mill 3-1 loss would have been better than a 4-1 3rd period meltdown. That can lead to the fans and media being more critical and more impatient and management making shortsighted decisions. Basically counterproductive.

I hope they give a shot to Blacker next season, Holzer will be the 6th or 7th dman.
Gunner, I think will move down to 5th or 6th if they can resign him under 2 mil, any more than that, let him walk.
I'm starting to think one compliance buyout will be Liles if not traded. - LeafMan
I never want to see Holzer in a leaf uniform again. |

No debate there. But I'm debating if a blowout would have been worse? Either way it sucked. |

I would have prefered a blow out. At least that way Boston beats us and the Leafs dont choke.

Yeah could have worse, could have been Washington. Definitely sucked either way. As a Buffalo fan that hit way to close to home. I don't even like to be reminded that stuff can happen, because I know which end my team usually ends up on. |
