I'm just as disgusted by antics by Kesler as most of the other leagues fans.

I don't support that kind of hockey no matter what team they play for!

We've been blowing leads all season.

Maybe this is the giant, dramatic kick in the balls we need to correct that problem.

They can be a pain for sure... but really, this place would be pretty crappy without them I think.

The Oilers thread has no Mod...it's a gong show.

dude - seriously relax.

did you really expect them to compete - nevermind win?

number one center misses two final games, big minute eating tough defenseman out?

you may be disappointed, we all are... but blowing it up is the wrong thing to do. add pieces, subtract a few, let at few others mature

and don't consider acquiring Roberto Luongo.

you guys will be better for this. Trust me. Your team reminds me so much of the Bruins 3 or 4 years ago its scary. Keep on keeping on, great series.

agreed.....you can't base an entire team and season based on the worst 10 minutes of the year.

leafs accomplished a lot this year, and should be proud of their season. they will learn from this game, and be a better team for it

If you think luongo is the problem in Vancouver....
- Pecafan Fan

I don't... but when he gets shelled.. he has a tough time coming back from it.

But I'm the minority in believing he is more "clutch" than people give him credit for

Game 7, OT 5-4 Loss. I would have never believed it to start the playoffs. So proud of them, the collapse hurts but the Leafs are back. If we can get a #1 Center, some more vets and depth on the 3rd and 4th lines, and hoping Reimer comes back even better next season, we're going to be a force. Can't wait for October!
- -_Leafs4Life_-

I am with you, got the worst series possible outplayed them, that wasn't a collapse, Boston needed 6 guys plus 2 Refs to even win this game.

Leafs were better, are better, and play tough clean hockey, can't say the same about the Bruins all the dodgy tricks to save time on icings throwing water bottles to re-position draws. Classy until the end.

They stopped trying and started defending, and they aren't that good at that, and it shows.

- Jadass12

They've done it all season. Just ask Glucky. He's been beating that horse since January. Usually a two goal lead, though. They took it to a new level tonight.

I think most people can recognize that this team has a bright future.
- Leeman4Gilmour

Of course. So do the Sabres. Like I said neither are contenders right now. You guys are probably closer. We both still need

A true Number 1 center
A true franchise defensemen
A true franchise goalie

Yup. Leafs owned the game with speed, and sat back to defend. Brutal.

definitely not luongo...

but i do believe reimer just proved why having a goaltender with some proven playoff nerves can be a little important in certain scenarios..

He's not, Luongo, Kesler and Garrison were the only Canucks who showed up in that series.
