yes but are these realities fair if observed by a fan of a team participating. Find me a BOS fan that thinks TO should have won the series. - TheNugeIsHuge
Are there people who are wearing Leafs-coloured glasses, or Bruins-coloured? Of course. There is more to determining who 'deserves' to win than statistics, though. At the end of the series both teams 'deserved' to win, in that both played well and hard - the Leafs threw the series away when they had it in hand, but if they had held on, they would have deserved the win just as much as Boston did, in the end.
Just my two nickels' worth. |

exactly. There's no point. TO fans think TO deserved to win the series and their minds can't be changed. That was my point thank you |

Not to be a sore loser, but Boston isn't going anywhere this year.
They needed to dispatch TO quickly and get some rest. And if Boston runs into the Pens, the refs won't be pulling for them anymore. - Leeman4Gilmour
yea, I agree. Especially with injuries to Seidenberg and Ference. Rolling with 2 rookie D men in Hamilton and Bartkowski. I don't know if they'll make it past round 2 |

yes and BOS scored 4 goals in 15 minutes and out-scoring-chanced TO the whole game.
again, I'm not going to argue facts. You can see what you want to see - TheNugeIsHuge
Not the whole game . Leafs owned the first 2 periods. You'd have to have watched and know hockey to understand that.

To say that the Leafs did not deserve to win after taking Boston to game 7. Having a 4-1 lead with ten minutes left in the game is well.....stupid. |

Bottom line...
Toronto has a lot to be proud of...
Boston dodged a very embarrassing bullet but should never had been in the situation in the first place. - Beatle_john

Bob Mackenzie: "At 4-1, the Bruins fans were literally booing their team off the ice. I've been covering hockey for 30 years and never seen a momentum swing like that" - fifty__missions
that's because he's a closet Leaf fan.
otherwise, look no further than the Bruins-Flyers.
you can't get a bigger collapse than that... and that with an already veteran lineup. |

it's the (frank)ing playoffs. deserving to win a series counts as much as a homeless man deserving to win the lottery.
the leafs got shafted by some shotty reffing, and then they bent over.. spritzed some lube on their own back ends.. and handed everything they'd worked for right back.
it's toronto. only one of those things is going to count in 6 months.

Hamilton has a shot at being the best of the bunch. I'm a big fan. Hard to stay in a lineup as good as BOS's as a 19YO D man all year long |

Did you see that boston fan admit the leafs should have won right after you said there wasnt a boston fan saying that?
Becuase you ignored it, just wanted to see if you caught that. |

And yet, this would be equally true had we held on for 50 more seconds.
It's hard to keep perspective, but this was overtime in game 7 against the Bruins. |
