Thank you bruins. you silenced the facebook world. The world filled with bandwagoner 'be-leafers'. I actually think that I would of cheered for the leafs as a canadian team had it not been for the beyond obnoxious fans. These fans whom are beyond clueless to the fundamentals of the game. - Biggus Richardus
I almost dropped my neighbour last night after I went to take the dog for a walk to cool off. "4-1! Can you believe it? What's his name in net didn't play very good did he? Wow! Time for new team eh?"

I do have a concern after watching the B's last night. With Lucic, Horton and other big bodies and pests, why did it take until the end of the game for them to have someone stand in front of the net on the PP?
It really reminded me of the Oilers when their PP dropped this year, a bunch of guys who just want to either try make that pretty pass or beat the goalie with a wrist shot. Going forward someone has to be in front of the net. Lundqvist is on top of his game and in order to beat the Rags your PP has to be better and that isn't going to happen with guys just trying to beat him high with a wrist shot.
Just my 2 nickels. |

Well done, B's!
Now take out the Rags... |

Lucic should have been called for hitting Gunnerson from behind into the boards---that hit gets 3-5 game suspension during the regular season....instead he gets to score and set up the tying goal. Total BS non-call, and Leafs got screwed. |

Were any of you at the game last night? Did anyone venture over to the Comcast New England Studio and start banging on the windows? Felger and Amonte were poopting bricks that the windows were gonna break and Felger even said (frank) on the air. It was a crazy scene. They had to call the cops to get rid of the crowd. Here's to a great original 6 matchup. |

Can we take a moment to recognize two guys who get a lot of criticism (some deserved some not deserved) but who played their absolute asses off last night....Zdeno Chara and Milan Lucic.
First the captain....I don't think enough can be made about the game he played. He played over 35 minutes (i.e. over half the game) and they weren't easy minutes. He consistently played against the Leafs' best players and even with his huge ice time he came out of the game with a +2 rating, an assist, and an absolutely monster screen on the tying goal. As Bruins fans we are spoiled by this guy. Like any player he has bad plays and bad games, but Chara is, quite simply, the best and most reliable defenseman in the NHL today. Somebody name me another player who could step up and play 35 minutes of shut down defense against a team with forwards like the Leafs and come out +2 and with a victory. You can't, and today he deserves acknowledgement for being what he is....a hall of fame caliber player who is amongst the more irreplaceable players in the league.
Now for Lucic.....The criticisms of him are loud and frequent, and I am amongst those that desperately want more consistency from him. But if we are going to denigrate him when he sucks we owe him accolades when he puts the team on his back like he did last night. Lucic was a man for most of the game. He flipped his switch before the rest of the team did, and he owned the third period. He played his ass off and led that team to a victory, and he did it before guys like Bergeron, Marchand, and even Seguin turned on their games. Simply put, the Bruins would not have had a chance for the miracle comeback without Lucic's play in the early and midway parts of the third period. Yes Lucic needs to learn to bring that type of energy and effort every night....but he is a 24 year old kid with a lot to learn still. This game showed why I think he is critical for the Bruins to keep, even with his 6 million dollar salary. I am hopeful last night's performance is a turning point for him. But even if it is not, he deserves all of our praise and admiration this morning for what he accomplished last night. |

buds couldn't win a faceoff (18-43) last night with bozak out which made it that much easier for the b's 6-5. |

but Lundqvist had about 200 more saves and 5 more wins, how do you explain that?
Please tell me the answer is that the Bruins played their BACKUP goalie more and he was just as good as Rask. Come on, go there. - jimbro83
who gives a (frank)? where were all these Bs fans complaining? |

Imagine how the people who left after the Kadri goal must feel today. They might even feel worse than Leafs fans. For years Boston fans are going to ask eachother where they were during that game and a few idiots are going to have to say "I was beating traffic". |

Agreed. Not only is Lundqvist a brilliant goalie, but he seems like a first-class competitor and a stand up guy and teammate. No reason to take pot shots at a guy like that, especially when he's OWNED the Bruins throughout his career. Bruins fans are more knowledegable than this. |

It was a joke, directed at a Ranger fan. I don't really think he sucks, he's one of the best goalies in NHL history. |

Fair enough. I'm a Bruins fan but I really enjoy watching Hank play. Truly a great player and a self-made one at that, since he wasn't a high draft pick. |

I figured it was a joke because Bruins fans are better than to troll one of the best players in the league and, for my money, the best goalie in the game today. |

Congrats to the Bruins on a gutsy win, although if you were going to win I would have preferred 7-0.

Let me guess, it's because of Boston bias because the league loves the Bruins. I bet Colin Campbell had something to do with it, or maybe Bettman is taking care of his pal Jacobs. |
