It may sound like it, but I’m not. It’s what he’s there to do, and the fact that he can do it, and for whatever reason, get away with it, makes him an asset to the Bruins. Agitating is a skill. He does it well. And further, it’s not like he’s Matt Cooke out there, ending careers. People may hate him, and I get why, but he performs a function, and performs that function well. I don’t hate him at all.

Absolutely true. I don't like his style either. But I do feel compelled to defend him because, whether I like it or not, he has been, arguably, the most successful coach this team has ever had.

I'll live with that just fine. A young team making major strides taking a supposed cup contender to 7 games and losing in OT isn't exactly a major disappointment. The Leafs are an up and coming team.
